Just reminding you my photography is not my strong suit. I used one of the sentiments from the set and the pre-colored version of this image but then I just added a few white dots to the sweater and hat, for a little change. I also added some Dazzling Diamonds Glitter to the pile of snowballs, the snow on the ground as well as a few of the dots on the folder, but I can't seem to get them to show in the photo. I placed a few little hearts which are negatives from a MS border punch in the centers of a few of the snowflakes and also embossed the sentiment piece with a Swiss Dot folder.
I take a "Background Class" with Marie Gamber over at Color Me Creative and this week Marie asked us to try using our embossing folders in a different way. So I brayered some Lavendar Lace ink onto my embossing folder and this is what I came up with. I am pleased with the way it turned out. Well I'm wishing you all a nice day and if you are in the path of the "possible" blizzard they are predicting please stay safe. Thanks for paying me a visit today. As always I really appreciate your company.

ReplyDeleteI love all the embossing you did on this card. The bunny is adorable. Enjoy the snow - we just finally got it almost all melted here.
ReplyDeleteI just LOVE the lavender snowflake embossed background with this cute little snowball-fighting bunny! The blizzard is heading our way too, so we're fixing to hunker down and just get through it. We have our milk & bread like everyone else in town! LOL

ReplyDeleteWhat a cute card Donna! I am totally loving the background, it turned out really pretty!!! Your image is just darling and yep that is what a lot of us are going to be doing on Monday. lol Don't think our snow is going to be packable, but maybe yours will be! We are only to get 5 to 7 inches, but the New England area is supposed to get a blizzard. DS is bummed because he has yet to see a blizzard. lol Ahhh to be young again! Stay warm and safe Donna! Hugs, Brenda

Donna...LOVE this carrd! The little bunny is darling, love his sweater, and the background with the snowflake embossing is perfect and beautiful.
ReplyDeleteWe are only supposed to get three to five inches of snow and none of the high winds and blizzard conditions like the East coast. Stay warm, safe and inside if you can.

Haven't gotten this cute digi yet, but you made me want to run over & get one! Love the dots on his sweater, and a perfect card for today. My Boston friends are expecting a big snowfall. It's on the news here in SC. I LOVE the way you've done that EF...it's stunning with the little Snow Wabbit. Terrific card. Ya'll stay warm, hope the heat stays on for you. TFS & Hugs
