I used the pre-colored version of the image along with the Warm Winter Wishes sentiment and just cut them out with both scallop and straight square SB dies. The papers are retired from SU! The "hello" die is by MB and I cut it out twice and layered one on top of the other slightly off. I added Wink of Stellar to the detail on the cup and the word "hello" but I am not so good at photography so you can't see it. (sorry) In real life it really does look pretty good. Some gems on the banners and corners of the image panel are from Pizzazz APlenty. Why not grab a piece of chocolate and a cup of coffee, sit down and join in on this sweet challenge and maybe win a nice prize. Sounds like a good day to me. Thanks a bunch for your visit. Company is always appreciated.
So, so cute, Donna! I love how you sponged in the green background, it's just perfect! I love what you did with the Hello! I thought it was cut from a shiny, foil paper! Looks great! I wish we could sit down and have a cuppa something!
ReplyDeleteCould use a cuppa cocoa today! Very sweet, Donna. Everything is covered, and it's still coming down. Happy Spring!
ReplyDeleteHi Donna!! That is just the cutest card!! Hope that snowman doesn't get too close to the steam!! Haha! What a fun image and a great card!!
ReplyDeleteHope some of your snow is melting..........

Love your card Donna! I love this image anyway and he is just perfect for our neck of the woods today. It has been snowing all day here, Happy 1st day of spring to us. lol But the nice thing this time around is that it isn't sticking to the roads or walks. That's how it should be each time it snows! The papers you used on this card are just perfect. Hugs, Brenda
ReplyDeleteThis is a great card Donna, and considering we got dumped with 5" of S.N.O.W. again today, a good hot cuppa hot chocolate sounds very good to me right about now! I love the colors and especially how you offset the 2 sentiment die cuts for a very cool look! I hope you're having a fun time where it's warm :)
ReplyDeleteLove this Donna, so cute and super design, hugs Carole Z X
ReplyDeleteVery cute card Donna! I love it. You know, I saw a blog the other day and your card reminded me of it....... She added favored oil to the chocolate, dipped a disposable clear spook in and allowed it to harden. She covered the spoon with a clear bag and added ribbon and embellishments. It was served at a luncheon at the coffee course. The spoon is used to stir coffee or hot chocolate. Your fabulous card made me think of that! Hugs, Marie
ReplyDeleteI love this image, Donna, and you've framed it so beautifully! Love that plaid paper. I used this image to make labels for hot chocolate 'kits' for my grandkids at Christmas, complete with mini candy canes. They loved them. :-D
ReplyDeleteDonna, your image is just too cute. I'm with you....no coffee for me....give me Diet Dr. Pepper and I'm happy.
ReplyDeleteLove your plaid paper..what a great color, too. Super card!
