I masked off the center of a piece of white card stock and sponged SU! Bashful Blue ink on it. Then I just stamped an image from an older SU! set titled Echoes of Kindness in black ink. The sentiment is by Hero Arts and I decided not to do any coloring at all. My larger panel is also just a piece of white paper that I sponged all around the edges with ink. I embossed the smaller panel with a Swiss Dot folder and used the Basket Weave folder for the larger panel. I matted everything with black card stock and I was done. Thanks for stopping in today and I'll see you soon.
Wow! Simple and beautiful!! Great looking card!!

No Copic coloring needed at all on this beauty! Love that embossed background and the focal point being the flowers and sentiment. Wonderful sponging with the ink too! Just gorgeous.

I LIKE this card! It's very clean, simple design, yet all the texture from the embossing - really adds so much detail & dimension. It is very pretty & I should remember to do some like this myself! Doesn't look 'fast' either...just well designed & executed! TFS & Hugs
ReplyDeleteBeautiful in its simplicity, Donna! I love the blue and white together, very effective!

ReplyDeleteGorgeously simple, Donna, and I adore that embossing folder you chose! I love that you went back to your roots but I also love your cards/images colored with Copics so I'm glad you discovered them. :-D
ReplyDeleteVery pretty!
ReplyDeleteGorgeous color combo! The embossing folders add such great texture to cards, best thing since sliced bread and affordable too. Very pretty card, Donna.
