Good Wednesday Morning, I have another very quick post today. This one is for the Operation write Home's Mid Week Throw Down found here. Our challenge was to use yellow and green.
I colored this House Mouse image titled Candlelit Dreams with Copics and then I reduced the picture to fit nicely on a A2 card so that I could use it for a Father's Day card for my next OWH box. I added 4 brads and a retired SU sentiment. The designer papers are also retired SU papers. I popped up the image to give it some more dimension. I'm afraid that's it for me today. I'd give anything to sit in here and "play all day" but that is just not in the cards (lol) for me today. See you again soon.
As always I want to say thank you for stopping by. I really do appreciate your visits. Have a great day all of you.
I love the scalloped mats on this card. So cute!
ReplyDeleteHi Donna, this is a darling card, I like your layout! You're on top of it making your Father's Day cards too, I've been thinking about them myself :)
ReplyDeleteI'm curious, are you turning some of your stamps into digi's? I think it's a great idea and space saving as well. Thanks for playing in our Midweek Throwdown challenge!
Hi Donna, What a charming card! Love the image - that little mouse looks so peaceful. You have made a terrific Father's Day card. Thanks for playing in our Midweek Throwdown Challenge at Operation Write Home Stars & Stamps!

ReplyDeleteThat's a sweet card for a dad!
ReplyDeleteSuch an adorable card. Well aren't you creative! I have never thought of reducing cards down after coloring them. That is a great idea! Did you just take a picture of it and then print? I have some that are just too big for my a2
ReplyDeleteHugs,

What I did was to just put my original colored picture into my printer and reduced it down to 60% of it's original size. Thanks for your nice comments.
DeleteGreat card!
ReplyDeleteAnd so clever of you to resize it!
I just got a new printer, so I'm going to have to try that!
Love the House Mouses!
I love papers cut on the diagonal! Thanks for checking in on me, I only have 6 more sketches to catch up on and then I'm done. I lost my mojo last week too, otherwise, I'd send you some! Seems like you're doing fine though. I hope to be able to catch up on the mid-week throw downs next. Wish me luck!
