Hi All, I seem to be a day behind on the challenges I like to play, but I guess better late than never. For my post today I made this card for the House Mouse Monday Challenge #135 Christmas Hug or Kisses.
I know this isn't actually a hug or a kiss, but to me is it as sweet a Christmas picture as they come. This image is titled "Kitty Snuggle". It is colored with Copics and is die cut with Spellbinders Square and Scallop Square dies. This darling pink heart ribbon was a gift from my dear friend, Carol, I just love it. (Thank you Carol ) The sentiment was made by using two different SU stamps from the Fancy Flexible Phrase set and cut out with a SU die. The designer paper is also from SU and is probably about 5 years old now. Some of that hoarded stuff I have. This will be the last challenge for this year at House Mouse & Friends so you should hop on over there and join in on the Holiday fun.
I'm hoping to get back here again this afternoon with my entry for the OWH Sunday Sketch Challenge. We'll have to see how good I manage my time today. Time management is not always a strong suit of mine now that I'm retired. LOL Thanks for stopping by. I love company.
awwwwww thanks for your wonderful comment, I have three weeks off so you can imagine what I am doing :) Think this is a super image for our hugs and kisses Christmas challenge so sweet and cosy and love the colouring and the hearts, I wish you well for Xmas and the New Year

This image is just precious the way you colored it and created a card around it! The hearts ribbon looks so cute on this card, and I'm glad you like it :) WTG on doing 2 cards today! I've been busy making goodie treats for visitors during the holidays :)
ReplyDeleteOh, I definitely think this qualifies as a "hug", Donna! I have that stamp and love it so much that I've even used it for non-Christmas but masking out the light bulbs. Not easy to do but so worth it. :-D I love the way you've colored the image and that heart ribbon is magnificent! Totally adorable.
ReplyDeleteThis is awwww worthy, so HUG it is!
ReplyDeleteI think I have that paper!
That old huh!?
Donna, I agree, this is the most adorable little scene. Love how you colored it and the your heart embellishment completes the story. Thanks for joining us at the House Mouse and Friends Monday Challenge. Nicely done.
