OWH Mid Week Throw Down

I'm here with a quick post for the MTW over at OWH.  We were asked to submit "general love cards"
Here is my entry.
The color is a little off here because the paper is actually more of a purple than the grey that it appears to be.  Weird, I know purple and red, but for some reason the sentiment sticker was sitting near the paper and it looked pretty good to me so I went with it.  That sticker, by the way, is from a sheet of stickers that was bought maybe 20 - 25 years ago for some little Valentine project.  If I remember correctly I stuck them all over the table cloth for our Valentine's dinner.    I really do have to start using up my "stuff" in a more timely fashion.  LOL   The double hearts are by Inkadinkado and I embossed them with black embossing powder.  Then I just dashed around everything and it was ready to go into the next box for OWH.  Hope you are all having a lovely day.  It's quite cold here in southeastern Mass, but it is normal for this time of year.  Maybe getting 6" of snow on Sunday.  Hubby will be very happy.  LOL  Thanks for taking the time to  visit.  I always love the company.  See ya again soon.

  1. Donna, that is the sweetest sentiment on your heart. Your card is just full of love. Good job with the faux stitching. Wow! You've had those stickers a loooong time. Good that you could use them..

We're getting 70 percent chance of rain Saturday so I guess by the time it travels to you, that'll be turned to snow. How fun. Post a photo of your snowman for us to see.

  7. Wow - that might be a record 20-25 years. I have some about 12 years old but yours are double that. They must have been good quality to still stick that long - LOL! Your card is sweet, sweet, sweet! Great sentiment and sweet hearts. I am with Benzi - show us pics of your snowman. Stay warm and hugz!

  9. What fabulous VOS!(Very Old Stuff!). It's perfect on this card, and I bet the purple & red combo looked so pretty. The background looked gray on my monitor, and was very pretty that way too. A very nice card for your OWH and somebody is going to be so happy to receive it. It's cold in Upstate SC too, but at least sunshine. Heard tomorrow is to be rain again. TFS, Hugs & Merry Christmas.
