Outlawz Alcohol Markers Challenge

Hi all, I'm behind on my postings this week.  I do hope you are all having a good weekend so far.  I know some of you are expecting more snow and I'm sorry for you.  We were suppose to get snow, but it is downgraded to just a dusting for now.

I'm here today with a card for the Friday Alcohol Markers Challenge over at the Outlawz.  This week the challenge is Anything Goes with Christmas as a twist.  Here is what I have to offer for this one.
The image is by SNSS and I've colored him with Copics, ran a gold pen around the inside edge of the die and then cut him out with SB rectangle die.  Then I cut a piece of SU! Real Red with my wavy cutter and matted him on that.  The background paper is from my stash and I'm sorry buy I have no idea who it is by.  I layered a piece of red chevron ribbon by Really Reasonable Ribbon that I won as blog candy, (Thank you Sybrina) on top of some SU! Real Red ribbon.  The sentiment is by SU! and was cut out with SU! punches.  I added four green gems from Pizzazz APlenty  down the front of the stocking.  They are a real gorgeous shade of green but I can't get them to photograph correctly.  Anyway this is my first Christmas card for this upcoming holiday season.   I hope I can get in the habit of doing at least a few a week.  Wish me luck on that one, please.  You should head on over to The Outlawz to see all the great cards their design team came up with.  Some great inspiration there.  Thanks for taking a minute to spend with me today.  I always love the company.

  1. Love your little bear & his stocking. He's definitely ready for Santa. This is so colorful & the papers all work together so well. Your diagonal ribbon just pops this design off the scale. Glad the storm is just a 'dusting' for your area. Hope our other PA friends get that lucky too! Happy Sunday & TFS

  2. I always love the traditional colors of Christmas on a card and yours fits the bill perfect! Cute image and love that design. Very nice!
Glad some of that snow will escape y'all this time as I know you're getting so tired of it.
    Have a good Sunday!

  3. This is adorable, Donna! Love the cute image and festive details! Glad you joined us for the Alcohol Markers Challenge! Hope you only get a dusting!

  4. I've been missing Rhubarb for a long time, but you brought him back with such a fabulous card! I love the layered ribbons and your exceptional coloring of this precious little bear! Adorbs!!

  5. Awww, who doesn't love a teddy. How cute is he and colored up beautifully. Simple and sweet. Love it.

  6. Wonderful coloring - especially the way you did his darling face. Cute card! Good plan for Christmas cards! Hugz!
