A Blooming Birthday

I needed a birthday card for tomorrow and I love Deedee's new Blooming Blessings set so much that I went ahead and used one of the images from that set.  This makes 5 cards I've made in the past week using images from this set.

I am not even sure what type of flowers these are or if there is a certain color I should be using, but I happen to think they look very nice in blue.  They are colored with Copics and cut out with SB Square dies.  It does not seem to show but I added Glossy Accents for the flower centers.  The Sentiment is by CC Rubber Stamp Company.  I embossed the back panel with  a Swiss Dot folder. The blue mats look like two different shades in the picture but they are the same.  I colored them both with the B01 Copic marker. That will do it for me for today, but I do hope you are having a wonderful day.  It's kind of damp and raw and it scheduled to rain for the next three days.  Hey it's not freezing cold, so no complaints from me.  Thanks for stopping in for a visit.

  1. Hi Donna. Pretty card! I love the off center design of the square! Have a great day!

  2. This is beautiful with those gorgeous blue blooms! I love how you colored the edges to perfectly match those flowers too! It's such a perfect birthday card for a lucky someone! Well done! Has your snow all melted yet or do you still have some white stuff on the ground?

  3. Maybe your cold weather is finally gone for this winter! I'll keep my fingers crossed anyway.
Love your card and those gorgeous blue flowers. The design on this card is super too. Very, very, VERY pretty!

  4. Gorgeous blooms, Donna. And, your colored mats are wonderful matching those pretty flowers.

Glad you are getting some warmer weather. I hope you have thawed. HA We are 80's for the next three days, but rain is coming again. Then, a cool front. Yuck!

  5. I am loving this card Donna! Those flowers are so pretty and I love them colored in blue. This makes a beautiful birthday card! Now off to see what else you have made with this set. Hugs, Brenda

  6. Love this card, Donna! I just love how you have offset the squares, great idea!
I hope your cold weather is gone!

  7. Such a pretty card Donna, your flowers certainly do look very nice in blue and your offset panel looks fabulous.
