I used a stamp I've had for ages. It is a 2001 SU! Stamp. I don't even remember if it belongs to a set or I purchased it separately from someone. My mind is not that big so I think it automatically throws out old information to make room for new stuff. Anyway I stamped it in VeraMark, embossed it with black powder then cut it out with a SB die. I sponged some Peeled Pain Distress ink around the edges then and ran my multiliner around it. I added some pink brads to try to pick up the pink in the retired SU! paper. I used an old SU! punch on all the corners also. That's all I have for today. It is fairly warm today, high 30's, which is very warm compared to what we've had lately so I'm heading out to do some shopping which I have decided is what I do best in life. LOL Thanks for stopping by today and I'd like to wish you all a fun day.
Just special, love your sentiment and your designer paper.

PS Hope you are getting some nice sunny weather!
What a wonderful card! That stamp is from the "Sketch It" stamp set - the very first stamp set I ever bought, and I hang onto it because I love this sentiment, and the pretty heart image in the set too! The sponging is gorgeous and I love the outline on the die cut! Such a pretty card Donna!!
ReplyDeleteI love sentiment focus cards, Donna, though I rarely think to make them. This one is marvelous! Loving that dp and everything set off with black matting.
ReplyDeleteOh Donna, this is a beautiful sentiment with a pack of love. Fab DP and composition. Have a fun evening and even better day tomorrow.

ReplyDeleteThis is lovely Donna. Lovely sentiment.
ReplyDeleteShopping? Well, I am glad you can finally get out of your house. We are supposed to be 68-70 degrees today but with all the rain and clouds (all week), I don't know if it will make it. Your card is so sweet with that sentiment and wonderful paper. Anyone would feel great receiving it.
ReplyDeleteA fabulous card Donna, such a lovely sentiment and beautifully framed - your papers are really pretty and everything goes together so well.
ReplyDeleteI hope you enjoyed your shopping.
